How To Transfer a Domain Name to Freeparking
Domain Transfer is the process of moving your domain name from one registrar to another. Once completed, the new registrar will be responsible for keeping and managing your Domain Name System (DNS) records.
Follow this guide on how to seamlessly transfer your domain name to Freeparking.
STEP 1: Prepare your Domain Name and Password
Have your Domain Name and your Domain Password handy to be able to proceed to Step 2.
NOTE:
- Domain Password, also known as the Registry Key, Auth Code, or EPP Key, is the code created when you first register your domain. If you forgot your password, you can request them from your current registrar.
- TLD domain names also require that the Registrar-Lock be removed before the transfer to another registrar is allowed. You can unlock or remove the Registrar-Lock through your current registrar.
STEP 2: Start the transfer
Once you’re done with Step 1, start the transfer of your domain name via the Freeparking website.
- Log in to your account or create an account with Freeparking if you don’t have one.
- Click Domains from the Product Navigation tabs.
- Select Transfer, and you should be routed to the domain transfer page.
- Enter the Domain Name, then click the Transfer button.

TIP: If you wish to transfer multiple domain names, click BULK TRANSFER and enter the domain names in the field provided.
- Enter your Domain Password and click Add to Cart.
- Follow the steps, and proceed with the Check Out.
NOTE: For other domain name extensions, such as .au and .uk, use a manual transfer process. Please contact us for the specific requirements.
STEP 3: Approval of Transfer
Once your order is submitted, we'll process the transfer. Wait for an email to confirm the transfer.
STEP 4: Transfer Accepted
After you receive the confirmation email, please wait as domain transfers may take 5-7 days to complete. We'll update you once the transfer is successful.
During this process, your website, email, and other services connected to your domain name will not be interrupted and will continue to work as normal.
