Connect Your Domain to Your Freeparking Website
Purchasing a domain name and a web hosting service will automatically connect you to the Freeparking name servers below:
- ns.freeparking.co.nz
- ns2.freeparking.co.nz
Your DNS settings are also set up to work with the hosting server for your website.
However, in some situations, you may need to manually connect your domain to the right name servers. This guide will help you update the DNS settings for your website to become accessible online.
Step 1: Get the Necessary Information
- Get the Hosting IP address of your Freeparking website.
- Know your current Name Servers. You can check WHOis to know your domain’s name servers.
Once you have the details required above, proceed to Step 2.
Step 2: Connect Your Domain to Your Website
Select the name servers that correspond to your domain name to see the applicable steps:

- Access the DNS settings of your domain in your dashboard.
- Add or replace the A Record of your main domain with the following value:

- Click Update to save your changes and wait for them to fully work or resolve.
Resolution Time
Updating the Name Servers and DNS records within Freeparking will take two to four hours to fully resolve on the internet. However, other ISPs have longer TTL durations that may override our resolution time. Some of these changes may take 24-48 hours to fully work.
