Change the Parked Page for Your Domain Name

Parked Domain is a registered domain without any web or email hosting services attached to it. Registrars allow you to point your domain to a dummy web page referred to as Parked Page.

Parked Page functions as a placeholder web page that shows visitors that your website is in future development. It also protects your domain name against the possibility of cybersquatting.

Warning: Ensure that the domain name you are updating doesn't have any connected hosting services. Changing your Parked Page will update the domain name's DNS and will cause the connected products to stop working.

Changing Your Parked Page

You can change your domain name’s default Parked Page within your Account Manager. Follow the steps below.

  1. Access the domain name you want to update.
  2. Scroll down to the Name Servers section.
  3. Click the Hamburger Menu on the right, then select Park Domain from the drop-down menu.

  1. On the pop-up page, select the type of Parked Page you want to activate.
  • Parked Page
All newly registered names are automatically pointed to a "Coming Soon" Parked Page, which acts as a placeholder for your domain. When you point your name to a pre-existing or new website, this Parked Page disappears.

  • Blank Page
If you do not want the "Coming Soon" Parked Page, you can have a simple Blank Page display. However, this can be ambiguous to site visitors. Hence, we strongly recommend using the default option for people to identify that the domain still exists.
  1. Click Activate to enable your chosen Parked Page.
